For any engine powered unit that has low compression or won't start
we will trouble-shoot and an estimate will be prepared. The Customer
will then be called before any repair work is done. Because an accurate
estimate takes time, customers will be charged $58.00 if the unit is not
repairable. However, any two stage snow blower or large mower will require
more labor time, because the unit will need to be split. All fluids, spark plugs,
and filters are considered parts. |
A visual inspection for fuel and oil leaks will be made, and the unit
will be cleaned with a pressure washer if needed to clear the cooling
fins. The cylinder head bolts will be re-torqued on flat head valve
engines. All fittings will be greased. All cutting and transmission
belts, pulleys, and cutting spindles will be inspected or replaced.
The engine oil will be changed and all filters (air, fuel, and oil)
and spark plugs will be replaced,. Blades will be sharpened
($ 5.00 for most blades and $ 6.50 for mulching blades) or
replaced. The engine and trensmission bolts will be re-torqued
and the engine RPM adjusted. The transmission will be serviced
(rear oil
and filter) on serviceable units and most garden tractors.
The battery and terminals will be cleaned, serviced, and tested.
The recoil and electric starters will be lubed and tested. |

Service For Lawn and Garden Equipment
Our service labor rate for any piece of equipment is
$ 65.00 an hour. We have 3 highly trained technicians
who are certified in small engine repair. We work on
almost any make or brand. Estimates are given, however
a $65.00 depositis required on all 4 stroke engines and
a $ 32.50 deposit is required on all 2 stroke engines as
well as snow blowers. We allways use OEM parts on all
repairs. We do give discounts on labor for any of our customers who have purchased equipment at our store.
And we also work on your equipment before other
customers. We also sharpen almost any blade ($ 7.00
for most blades and $ 8.00 for mulching blades) We
also sharpen chain saw chains ($ 7.00)
Service For Electric and Battery Power Tools
We have certified technicians who can work on DeWalt,
Makita, Milwaukee, Hitatchi, and Porter Cable. We also
fix electric compressors and electric motors.
