Service for Lawn and Garden equipment.
For any engine powered unit that has low compression or will not start, we will trouble shoot the problem, and provide an estimate if requested before any work is done. However, because an accurate estimate takes time, customers will be charged $65.00 if the unit is not repaired.
Normal service for lawn tractors will include a visual inspection for fuel and oil leaks, and the unit will be pressure washed if needed to clear the cooling fins. All fittings will be greased. All cutting and transmission belts, pulleys, cutting spindles will be inspected. The engine oil will be changed, and all filters (air, fuel and oil) as well as spark plugs will be replaced. Blades will be sharpened ($8.00 for most blades) or replaced. The engine and transmission bolts will be re-torqued and the engine RPM checked and adjusted. The transmission oil and filter will be changed on serviceable units. The battery terminals will be cleaned, and the battery serviced and tested. Also, the recoil and electric starter will be lubed and tested.
Our service labor rate is $65.00 per hour. We will work on almost any make or brand of popular power equipment such as walk behind mowers, tractors, pressure washers, string trimmers, chain saws, generators, water pumps, air compressors, etc. Estimates for 4 stroke engines require a $65.00 deposit, and 2 stroke engines require a $32.50 deposit. All fluids, spark plugs, and filters are considered parts.
Customers may also drop off mower blades and chain saw chains ($7.00 for up to 20”) for sharpening.
Service for Electric and Battery Powered Tools.
We service and repair most major brands of AC and DC powered tools, including DeWalt, Milwaukee, Hitachi, Ridgid, Ryobi, Husqvarna, Bosch, and Porter Cable . We also repair DeWalt, Porter Cable, Emglo, and Hitachi electric air compressors. Electric motor and swimming pool motor rebuilding is also available. Estimates for electric tool repair is $15.00.
Customers may also drop off automotive alternators, generators, and starter motors for rebuilding, as well as magnetos such as Fairbanks Morse, Wico, and some antique magnetos.
